The Atlantis experience starts on the ground floor of the St. Regis Resort. Guests enter a glass elevator and head straight to the seventh floor. Up top, ceiling-to-floor windows offer a one-of-a-kind view of Topsail Island's northern strand. Seafood, steaks and pasta are some of the prized menu items. A salad and choice of vegetable are provided with each entree. Cocktails and an extensive wine list and fine desserts are sure to please the palate. A children's menu is also available. The Atlantis is designed to handle large groups and is ideal for special events. The restaurant has full ABC permits, and reservations are recommended. The Atlantis is open during the summer season Tuesday through Sunday for dinner.

Fresh, Southern-style seafood is the order of the day at the Breezeway, which is adjacent to the Breezeway Motel. Traditional fried, broiled, grilled or Cajun-spiced seafood is offered, along with selections of steak and chicken. Seafood lasagna and hot crab dip are specialties and the steamer bar serves up crab legs, lobster, oysters, clams and shrimp. Add a slice of chocolate pecan or Key lime pie, and the magnificent sunset view of Topsail Sound, and you have the makings of a wonderful dining experience. In business since 1949, the Breezeway has become a favorite with visitors and residents. The Breezeway is open nightly at 5 PM for dinner in the summer, spring and early fall. Dr. Root beer’s Hall of Foam, located in a vintage 1950s gas station near the waterfront in Sneads Ferry, sells root beer made from Jerome Gundrum’s own recipe. Choose between old fashion fountain favorites like lime ricky, birch beer or sasparilla while listening to their 1953 Seeburg jukebox. With root beer floats, milkshakes and 16 flavors of hand-dipped ice cream, there are plenty of cool treats for everyone. Dr. Root beer also serves delicious sandwiches like his Dixie Pot Roast, chicken or tuna salad wraps, sweet Italian sausage and three different kinds of hot dogs, including foot-longs and his new Sweet Sassafras BBQ.
